At Shady Grove Presbyterian Church, we believe in fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for our worship services. Biblical Teaching
At the core of our church’s teaching approach is a commitment to exegetical preaching. This means that our sermons are typically structured around a specific book of the Bible, with each message carefully examining the Scripture in its original context. By doing so, we aim to provide our congregation with a deep understanding of God’s Word, equipping them to apply its timeless truths to their everyday lives. We believe that this method of preaching enables a richer and more transformative encounter with the Holy Spirit.
Current Series
Our current sermon series, entitled “But who do you say I am?”, takes us on a journey through the Gospel of Mark. As we explore the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, we seek to answer the crucial question that He posed to His disciples: “Who do you say I am?” This series challenges us to examine our understanding of Jesus and His role in our lives, inspiring us to grow in our faith and deepen our personal relationship with Him.
Kids Sunday School
At Shady Grove, we recognize the importance of nurturing the spiritual growth of children and providing a supportive environment for families. To this end, we offer a children’s nursery, Sunday School classes for various age groups, and a cry room for parents with very young children. We are dedicated to fostering a loving, engaging, and age-appropriate experience for our youngest members, helping them build a strong foundation in Christ.

When you visit Shady Grove for the first time, you can expect a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Greeters will be available to answer any questions and provide you with additional information about our church. We also have convenient guest parking at the front of the church to make your first visit as smooth as possible. During the service, you may be invited to connect with one of our deacons, who would be happy to talk with you or pray with you.
